Indiventure is a brand of UH Travels, Malviya Nagar, New Delhi (“we”, “us”). This policy explains how we handle personal data when you use indiventure.in, message us, or travel with us. It follows India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules.
What we collect
- What you type into our forms: name, phone number, trip or route details, dates and number of travellers. The website does not store this. When you press send, it opens WhatsApp with a pre-filled message, and it only reaches us if you send that message.
- What you share when you contact us on WhatsApp, phone, email or Instagram, including your phone number and messages.
- What we need to run your trip: names, ages and gender of travellers, photo ID where hotels, permits or yatra registration require it, pickup addresses, an emergency contact, and any medical or fitness information you choose to tell us for treks and adventure activities.
- Payment and billing details such as the payer's name, the transaction reference and GST details for invoices. We do not see or store card numbers or UPI PINs.
- Basic technical data: our hosting provider records IP addresses and browser type in server logs to keep the site secure. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Why we use it
- To reply to you, prepare quotes and plan your trip.
- To book hotels, vehicles, guides, permits and activities for you.
- For your safety on the road and on the trail, including contacting your emergency contact if needed.
- To issue invoices and meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
- To send you trip updates. We will only send offers if you agree, and you can say stop at any time.
We use your data only for these purposes, on the basis of the consent you give when you contact or book with us, or where the law allows or requires it.
Who we share it with
- Service providers for your trip, such as hotels, homestays, camps, drivers, guides, activity operators and transport partners, and only what they need.
- Government authorities where permits or registrations require it (for example yatra registration or forest permits), or where the law requires us to share.
- Tools we use to run the business: WhatsApp (Meta) carries our messages under its own privacy policy, and our website host and email provider store data on our behalf.
We never sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep trip and contact details for as long as we need them to serve you, and billing records for as long as Indian tax and accounting laws require. After that we delete them or make them anonymous.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and who we have shared it with;
- correct or update it;
- delete it, unless we must keep it by law;
- withdraw your consent (this may mean we can't complete a booking);
- let someone you nominate exercise these rights on your behalf.

Children
Trips for anyone under 18 must be booked by a parent or guardian, who gives consent on their behalf.
Security
We limit who on our team can see your data, use secure, password-protected tools, and share only what each partner needs. No system is perfectly secure, so please tell us straight away if you think something has gone wrong.

For any privacy concern or complaint, write to indiventureindia@gmail.com or +91 93543 02090. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can approach the Data Protection Board of India.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update this page and the date above. See also our Terms & Cancellation Policy.
